MY ADDICTIONS:

1. JUNK FOOD



My friends now how bad my addiction is when it comes to junk food. This is one of the reasons why I gained weight. Combos like chips and chocolate is my favorite of them all. I guess I never outgrew this phase. Hehe!


2. SHOPPING



It's a form of exercise actually. LOL. Seriously though, there's nothing like having this great feeling at the end of a shopping day when I know that I've gotten great finds and good deals. Who needs drugs when you've got shopping high?

3. TRAVELLING WITH MY HUSBAND



Don't get me wrong, I also love to travel with my friends and other family members but it's different with my husband. It's sharing an adventure with him and then we get to tell our future grandkids about it is what makes it more special.

4. INDIAN FOOD



Junk food is not my only addiction, I am also addicted to Indian food. Hmmm... This is not good, I've put two kinds of food in this addiction list. Haha! Now you know where the extra pounds came from. LOL! Seriously though, my husband and I are both addicted to Indian food. Since we're both fans of spicy food, Indian food is heaven!

Lastly...

5. MOVIES



I am addicted to watching movies. If I can do one thing for the whole day, this would be it. I can sit or rather slouch or possible lie down in bed while having a movie marathon.

Being a Psych grad, we had this one subject where we took almost all available Psych tests in school and we get to check our scores and see the interpretations. Like Em, I also have a thing for bald (mostly by choice) guys but I'm also attracted to guys with gorgeous eyes that have the penetrating-through-your-skull stare and of course, a great smile. So, I was thinking long and hard on who I would put in this list. And after much deliberation, these are the "winners" (in no particular order).

There's this innocence in his face but when I look into his gorgeous eyes, I can see the bad*ss man that he can be. Plus, the voice is oh so macho! I was really drooling when I was watching The Notebook.

What's not to like? He's tall and handsome! I don't care if he's a mutant or a vampire killer. I love Hugh Jackman!



3.Tom Welling
I've had a crush on him the first time I watched Smallville. I thought he was more of a Superboy than a Superman until I saw an off-shirt scene of his. *pushing up my lower jaw and wiping my drool*




4. Brandon Routh
My hero. Super handsome! Super gorgeous! Superman! Hahaha! I remember watching Superman Returns in IMAX 3D. I was literally trying to grab him when his 3D image was flying in front of my face at the end of the movie. LOL!



5. Chris Evans
Another superhero. I was really crushing on him in Fantastic Four but I really liked him in The Nanny Diaries. He's soo cute!!!




6. Wentworth Miller
His voice is like Ryan Gosling's. Well, they don't sound alike but you'd be surprised to hear their super low-macho voice. I just can't get enough of his eyes. *I'm melting!*



7. Michael Vartan
I dunno but the first time I saw him in Never Been Kissed opposite Drew Barrymore, I just can't help but have a crush on him. And just like the men in this list, I love his eyes.



8. Josh Hartnett
Again with the eyes. *swoon* Argh! I can just melt... *sigh* Love him in 40 Days and 40 Nights and in Pearl Harbor. It's a shame I wasn't able to see him when he went here last year.




9. Ryan Reynolds
Once you get passed his Two Guys, A Girl and a Pizza Place and Van Wilder image of his and have seen Blade Trinity, then you'll never look at Ryan Reynolds the same way again. Who would've thought that this funny guy can be oh so sexy -- I did! Mahal na bigas... pandesal na lang! Dami nya oh. LOL!



10. Vin Diesel
He is the hunkiest of them all plus he's got that great smile too. I'm gonna be feeling so safe when I'm with him. Just look at those arms! *gigil* LOL!



11. Wendell Ramos
My only local pick. I've had a crush on him since high school. I can't remember where I first saw him but when I did saw him in person, I just stared and stared. Creepy na dating ko. Haha! By the way, this is the only decent and dressed photo of Wendell that I found in the web. The rest were all photos of him half naked during the Bench fashion show. Hehe! *hot*




P.S. I've narrowed it down to 10 foreign and one local pick otherwise, I'd be able to list 10 more. Stop me! Hahahaha!

THE QUESTION: What do you love the most about your husband/ partner?

I think this is one of the hardest questions to answer... ever! Next to "Who am I?" Here goes...

♥ I love him for accepting who I am and (hopefully) who I will be in the future (whatever that is)
♥ I love him for doing the little things that (most of the time) makes the difference like taking my hand and kissing it while he's driving, saying and texting "I love you" at times when I least expect it (which makes me more "kilig"..LOL!), massaging/tickling my feet whenever we're watching TV, etc. etc...
♥ I love him for bringing me closer to my faith
♥ I love him for having our long intelligent, funny and wacky conversations that we have while driving, eating or before going to bed.
♥ I love him for being my best friend, lover, personal bodyguard and chef.
♥ I love him for being the selfless person that he is.
♥ I love him always being so respectful to my parents and other loved ones.
♥ I love him for his dimples. You might say it's shallow but they're just so cute! I love a man with dimples! :-)
♥ I love him for taking care of me when I'm sick. Even if it's just dysmenorrhea. LOL!
♥ I love him for being the soft-spoken and shy person that he is.

I AM GRATEFUL...

1. I am grateful for being alive. Though I may constantly whine about the littlest things, in the end, I realize that from the food that I eat, the clothes that I wear and the house that I live in, my life (no matter how simple or complicated it may seem at times) is truly blessed.
2. I am grateful for my parents and my relationship with them. Though it may not be perfect, I know that they’ll always be there for me, no matter what and vice versa.
3. I am grateful for Aris who has always been there for me despite everything.
4. I am grateful for being able to go to school again so I can be of great help to my family and future family as well.
5. I am grateful for having such great close friends. They are also one of the reasons that keep me grounded and help me maintain my sanity. We may not be related by blood but I treat them like my sisters and brothers.
6. I am grateful for my mom’s **** (my friends know what this is).
7. I am grateful for my family and friends' good health.
8. I am grateful for my dog Sundae. She always manages to bring a smile to my face with her crazy antics no matter how down I am.
9. I am grateful for being able to finish and pass my first year in nursing school. One year to go!

Kid’s Question #1
If you were the ruler of the world and you could have anything you wanted as well as have people do anything you wanted, do you think you would get greedy and mean or would you be a good and fair ruler?

MY ANSWER: I'd be good and fair especially to those in need. In the first place, I wouldn't be able to get what I want and have people do anything that I wanted if I'd be greedy and mean right? :-)

What time do you usually wake up?
It depends but since it's summer, I get up around 8-8:30. That is, if I didn't sleep late.

What’s the first thing you do?
Check for the time. If it's still early, I'd sleep some more. Hehe!

Breakfast?
Yup! Special K cereals or Koko Krunch. Hehe! Depends on my mood.

Do you go to work/school?
I resigned just last year and I'm now a Nursing student in my senior year.

Do you like it?
Yup! I'm learning a lot.

If you stay at home, what do you do all day?
Blog, surf and play with Sundae.

When’s lunch and what you eatin’?
When my parents are here, it starts around 11:30 and it's usually rice and some fish or beef viand. When I'm home alone, lunch varies depending on the time I ate breakfast. Hehe! Usually it's bread or some leftover dinner.

What time do you get home from work/school?
9:30 p.m.

What do you do?
You mean after getting home from school? Hmm... I usually turn on the telly or if I'm really tired, I wash my face, brush my teeth and change into my jammies then straight to bed!

Dinner: When and what?
It depends on what time we get home from school. Sometimes it's just bread and something.

What do you do to unwind?
Pig out while watching our favorite TV series on DVD, get a massage, go to the mall, watch a movie, road trip and hand out with friends.

What’s your favorite part of the day?
After dinner onwards. I am a nocturnal being.

Who’s your favorite person to interact with?
Aris, my mom and dad, my bestfriend Kay and my MG family

One word -- erratic

>>>I didn’t have a particular year in mind back then. But I remember when I went to this fortune teller and he told me that I should not get married before the age of 27 otherwise it will just end up in a separation. I think he was right! Hehe!

>>>Pink

3. Have you ever shoplifted?
>>>Yes when I was in Grade 1 (haha!). I took 1 Hao Flakes from the candy shelves in our canteen in school because my dad was late in picking me up and I was so hungry that I got one Hao Flakes. Haha! Batang Yagit!

4. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
>>>Places actually --Europe(!!!), Japan India and South America

5. Which part of you that you hate the most?
>>>As in body part or personality? For body part, my forehead. That’s why I’ve always been teased as Ms. Full Moon when I was young. For personality, I guess (sometimes) being too loud. But this only happens when I’m really mad or really excited. LOL!

6. When you encounter a sad moment, what would you do?
>>>Like Em, I write on my journal and I cry… I go to church to pray, I also talk to my friends (to vent and rant) and if it’s really really bad, you’d hear me say: “Bring out the booze!” *wink wink*

7. What are you afraid to lose the most?
>>>Loved ones

8. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
>>>Donate, invest, save and splurge (hehe!)

>>>Resigning from the embassy and going back to school (despite the constant whining)

>>>Not realizing earlier the importance of having a healthy lifestyle and getting more than one credit card. Hehehe!

13. Which type of person do you hate the most?
>>>Posers, backstabbers, liars. --> Amen to that! And can I just add, feeling God's gift to mankind know-it-all people.

14. What is your ambition?
>>>When I was a kid, I wanted to be a doctor (most kids did). Ally McBeal days, obviously, I wanted to be a lawyer. Now, it’s either to be a DR nurse, stylist or personal shopper (hehehe!)

15. If you had one wish what would you wish for?
>>>This is hard but I guess I want happiness and contentment in all aspects of my life, family’s and friends’ life as well.

16. How did you celebrate new year?
>>>It was almost perfect. Aris was there together with my family. Only my brother, sis-in-law and nephew weren’t there. We were playing with firecrackers and fairy wands. We welcomed 2008 with big, colorful and feathery noise-makers.

17. It is already 2008, do you have a new year’s resolution?
>>>None that I kept.

18. What do you look forward to in 2008?
>>>Our trip in December. Viva LV!

19. If your life is a song, what title best fit it?
>>>Let It Be

20. MY QUESTION: Forced choice: Would you rather get a piercing or a tattoo?

To answer Em’s question: “Define Friendship” It’s a bond between people who at most have the same interests, acts like their family and accepts each other’s flaws.

To answer Gracie's question: "If you can travel back in time, which year or era would you like to see?" Well, I would have to say 50'-60's mostly because of Audrey Hepburn and the lovely outfits they have. :-)
