If there is a Shopaholics Anonymous then I would definitely be a part of that group. I love to shop. I can do it alone or with friends and family. It's a kind of therapy for me -- retail therapy. However, there are certain things that I just don't like whenever I go shopping. First is the traffic going to the mall. It's crazy! Sometimes the time I spent stuck in traffic is even longer than the time spent in the mall. Second, I really don't appreciate waiting in a long queue at the cashier. That time could've been spent for more shopping. Such a waste. Lastly, it's physically straining to push a very big shopping cart or to carry my shopping bags out of the mall to my car.
That's why I am super glad that the internet plus the ecommerce software was invented. Now shopping is just a click away. I just love it when I go shopping online. It's stress-free, easy and fun. Goodbye traffic and long queues. I particularly like the idea of the shopping cart. I just click and click and they're all in my cart ready to be "delivered" to the check out counter. I don't even have to move a muscle. Well, maybe just to type in my credit card number. I just hope that my other favorite shops would go online and get the best shopping cart software they could find.

The thought of online shopping is great especially in terms of convenience. However, depends on what items you buy though. Like, if we buy clothing online, we don't get to "try it out" and see how the blouse or top would actually look like when we wear them right?

Hi Pam! How are you? Your niece looks adorable.
Anyway, that's true...but if you know your size and you're a patron of that store, then it's ok I guess. :-) - April 8, 2008 at 5:37 PM
