I have a dog and her name is Butter. She is a very cute Japanese Spitz (I'll post a pic of her next time). A couple of days ago, my dog Butter got sick. My dad said he saw blood on her pee (yeah, I know, GROSS!) when they went out for a walk one morning. I was mortified when I found out about this. Butter is already eight years old (times six to get the dog years right?) so she is pretty old. I was still in QC when this happened coz I got school. Good thing, I was able to go home a day after I heard the news.
I was almost in tears when I saw her. She looked so frail and I could tell that she has lost some weight. You see, she is somewhat on the heavy side but when I saw her that day and held her, it was different. Even her eyes conveyed pain and sadness. Poor girl, she can't even tell me where it hurts. :-(( I was crying at this time while I was watching her.
My dad was able to bring her to the vet a day before I got home and she was prescribed to take meds for her kidneys. We had a hard time giving her meds coz she was crying.
Good thing, she's all better. My prayers have been answered and now she looks healthy and happy. I am so relieved that she's ok. I don't know what I'd do if I'd lost her. I'm sure those who have pets will understand how I feel.
