Song of the Week #4

I've been looking for this song for the longest time. Finally, I found it. The first time I heard it on the radio, I wasn't able to listen to the whole song but was immediately intrigued with the lyrics. Its title is Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen) by Baz Luhrmann.

It's timely since it sounds like a graduation speech and it's graduation time for some students. Hehe! It's also addressing Batch '99 which was my batch too. Seriously though, I like this song because the lyrics are simple and true. Nothing complicated, just the plain truth.

If you're unaware of this song, listen from start to finish. I'm pretty sure you'll be nodding your head in approval or raising your eyebrow in disbelief. Either way...it'll make you think! ;-)

Happy Monday everyone!

P.S. raft3r: sorry I can't find a Cyndi Lauper song in imeem that's not cut.
